In addition to this service design services, in a strategic move towards producing our own brand of embedded hardware, a dedicated design team has now been tasked to focus on developing a variety of accessory and add-on boards for the popular and fast expanding open source hardware market.
Single board computers such as the popular Arduino and recently introduced Raspberry Pi are truly low cost and are being used in variety of ingenious ways. The advent of low cost RF devices and internet are producing and explosion of useful devices for the masses.
Pentacom Technology has decided to enter this open source market, to extend our services to the end user. As such a number of projects are being designed, many in their advance stages such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino I/O expansion boards, analogue to digital convertors, digital radio links and transceivers in the ISM bands which require no license and the exciting Bluetooth 4.0 low energy modules which can allow these computers to communicate with a variety of sensors and Android IOS devices.
Currently some of these designs are being finalised. There are no release dates set as yet however, further news will be posted here when available.
